The Chicane Air Shoes from Cortech are a low profile, communicative riding shoe for summertime miles. The Chicanes are constructed from a perforated microfiber upper to enhance airflow. This durable, abrasion resistant material is fortified further with a thermoplastic heel cup, toe cap and carbon fiber-look shifter overlays. Molded into the shoes’ upper are dual density ankle protectors. Where the rubber meets the road is a unique midsole engineered with anti-twist and unidirectional flex properties. A reflective patch at the heel adds visibility in low light, and a hook and loop ankle strap keeps loose laces from unsavory mingling with moving parts. Designed with an emphasis on “sport”, the Chicane Air Shoes’ thin outer sole and svelte toe box are primed to work the foot controls.
